Dominasi Titik Keausan Crank Shaft Bore Genarator Set Engine 3500 Series Caterpillar

Abstract

Connecting road berfungsi sebagai penerus gaya piston ke crankshaft,  kemudian crankshaft merubah gerakan lurus piston ke dalam gerakan berputar. Gerakan ini bersifat terus menerus dan menjadi salah satu pusat beban terbesar, sehingga berpotensi memiliki resiko keausan yang tinggi. Ada tiga titik ukur keausan berdasarkan rekomendasi standar dalam inspeksi pengukuran secara berkala. Sehingga untuk penelitian  ini, perlu untuk menyelidiki dominasi terbesar keausan dari tiga titik ini yang diduga akan bervariasi karena letak dan tingkat variasi beban yang berubah-ubah. Data keausan crackshaf bore yang diolah adalah hasil pengukuran selama empat tahun pada diesel engine 3500 Series Caterpillar dan kemudian dianalisa apakah ada dominasi pada titik tertentu dari  pengkuran crackshaf bore tersebut dengan statistik deskriptif, Analisys of Varians (ANOVA), Uji Posteriori (Post Hoc). Kesimpulan yang didapat berdasarkan analisis uji statistik adalah tidak ada dominasi keausan tertentu pada titik-titik ukur crankshapt bore. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keausan yang terjadi pada semua titik ukur maupun posisi silinder adalah merata. Yang menyebabkan hal ini terjadi adalah karena yang pertama secara statistik diduga karena besar keausan yang relatif kecil dengan satuan inchi serta dalam ukuran seper satu juta inchi maka statistik mendeteksi tidak terjadi perbedaan dalam tingkat keauasan. Kedua hal ini terjadi bisa juga secara teknis disebebakan balancing pembebanan gaya pada semua silinder adalah merata, serta putaran rpm engine yang stabil dengan vibarasi yang rendah.
